Ignorance is bliss. Now I know why they say it...
I'm not entirely sure why, but every time I write a story that has detailed the outline in points, I tend to lose my interest. NaNo is also the same: I completely unaware where the story will take me, and there I was, finishing 50,000 words of my novel. And did I write it in random? No, certainly not. I just wrote bits and bits of what I thought that day, and kept going slowly. At least, that works for me.
Now, let's see when I then outlined it. I suddenly lost my interest! Dang it! I couldn't understand why! It's unexplainable, yet I can swear it's true!
Hhhh... Perhaps, this time, I shouldn't outline at all. Perhaps, once I outline everything, there's a part of me that feels satisfied already with the story, and cannot see why I want to continue it. That's really a trouble. Also forget about the title whatsoever. I hope I can find a good one once this story ends.
I don't know what's wrong with me. I really, really hate it happened this way...

Coraline
Just after I watched The Nightmare before Christmas, I found several trailers for other movie: Coraline. That title rang in my ears immediately. I remember my friends asked me to buy the book for me months ago. The reason is just she didn't want to pay extra tax to buy it online, so she asked me who was just about to go to Australia. Just want a discount. If everyone has this kind of mindset (like me too, actually), the business world will be a dead meat...
What made me really interested is that the director is also the same one who did The Nightmare before Christmas. And I didn't even know Coraline had a movie (I was always late about trends and all that), so I tried to watch the trailer and...
...Drats, it's creepy!
On the other hand, I'm also curious. It's somehow beautiful, when also dark and frightening. It's like a combination of horror, fantasy and children's genre. Creepy, but also makes me curious.
Ugh, I wish they put it on TV or something. I really, really want to watch it. Or read it. I couldn't find the book when I checked the bookstore near my house. Hhh, patience is always annoying...

FINALLY! The Nightmare before Christmas!
Yep, it's my most lucky day! FINALLY, I'm able to watch The Nightmare before Christmas!
Well, honestly speaking, I technically have been a fan even before I watched the movie. I first knew it when I was still around junior high school, from the game called Kingdom Hearts. At first, I didn't really care what it was, up until I found Grim Tales in the Snafu-Comic, which then made me curious a bit about this movie.
I then started to listen to its musics in YouTube. Funny thing to say, actually, because I listen to its music before I watch the film. But, well, life goes in a weird way. And since then, I've been wanting to watch its movie without much success. The best I can get is small bits in the YouTube, and the original poem of the story. I even bought a book about it. That's just how miserable I was...
Well, I hit a jackpot just this afternoon! I found that movie in YouTube! And it's amazing! Well, though there's still a little bit error sometimes due to poor internet connection, it's still awesome. Forget about my assignment, forget about popcorn. All I know is that I must watch it right then. Well, that's just how my day goes, watching the movie.
This is the best day ever! And now, if you excuse me, I want to continue with my NaNo novel again before the feeling is gone. Must... finish... FAST!

Not DeadTime...
Drats, I don't know there's already a game with "DeadTime Stories" as the title. Well, that means I won't use it. That's just exasperatingly boring if the titles are the same. Hmm, now let's think about it again...
...I'm stuck.
...I'm stuck.
DeadTime Stories
Something else I had in mind: the title for my NaNo novel. Honestly speaking, ever since I started this novel, I had no idea at all what title I should use. I just wrote. My mind is quite simple, in a manner of speaking: I'm too lazy to get confused.
But yesterday, as I was at last too tired to write more, I thought about it... and still had no idea at all. So, here is basically the premise of the story:
Vicky Curse is a daughter of a grim reaper, yet she had the most boring life in the Underworld: massaging sewer rats, bathing a snail, and manicuring-pedicuring cockroaches—that kind of stuffs.
But one day, a high professor of the grim reapers comes to her little town and takes her as an apprentice—the position all reaper-wannabes have dreamt of for a long time.
But the afterlife is never that easy. In order to claim her status as an apprentice, Vicky must complete a series of test first, to see whether she’s competent enough to be a grim reaper or not—but that’s hardly the worst. People were afraid of her. People were afraid that she would bring bad luck upon the Underworld.
And indeed, bad things start happening: lawn gnomes are turned into mischief-making goblins, the cupid fountain statues start to attack people and—yes—the nightmare appears! And all of these make Vicky thinks: Should she really become a grim reaper, despite all bad lucks around her?

Of course, there's still some changes later, but that's practically it for now. And I'm still confused with the title for this story. A few I have come up with:
- DeadTime Stories: I quite like it, actually. With a good cover, it can be quite attractive. But I intend to make it a children fantasy book. Should I put "Dead" for a book for children around 12 years old? (It's a pun for "Bedtime Stories", in case you haven't figured it out.)
- Vicky Curse. Simple and short. Just using the main character's name. But, somehow, I can't feel quite certain with it...
- The Grim Apprentice. Much better, but I have a strong feeling that there are too many books titled "The Blah-blah-blah Apprentice". If possible, I don't want to use it.
Oh, dear... What should I use now?
NOTE: By the way, I hope no one reads this post. I hate when having a too-personal subject read by an anonymous...

Ask Pancreas
I don't know why I post this. I'm just wondering what my pancreas's voice is like.
Ah, several days after NaNo, and I'm still trying to finish the story... I have a feeling it slows down a bit lately. I start getting confused with what I should write after this. The excitement of NaNo has started to wear off. I need someone to kick my arse again back to fit, writing-frenzy condition...
BY.THE.WAY! Have you ever wondered what your pancreas sounds like? Because I need it for my story. I think I have an idea to continue it, but I need pancreas to tell me. And so do lungs, eyeballs, nostrils, toenails, hair, eyelids, cheeks, ribs and so on. I need my body to start to speak up.
...I must have lost my mind.

Life After NaNo
Yes, it's already December, and NaNo is over for good. Now I'm back to my usual college life without a surge to write more and more like crazy.
...Honestly speaking, I have been missing November already.
Last month was full of craziness. I managed to complete 50,000 words, of course, just several days before the deadline. Well, not really, as I actually had finished a long time ago, if only I counted the words I wrote for the first story.
One crazy thing that happened during NaNo was that I already got bored with my story. The reason is unknown. Supposed I prepared it too much (as a matter of fact, I had heard about NaNo since August) that I already lost my interest since the month began. So, right at the 17th of November, I decided to change my story, ignoring the 25,000 words I had written before. And this story is—well—completely random. I kept changing the characters as I went along. Only the main character I never change, and maybe another one whom I put just because I suddenly realized that the main character needs at least one friend.
And regardless it's completely random, I managed to finish 50,000 words in 10 days. *Hikz* I nearly died remembering it...
A-NY-WAY! The story is not over yet, so I still have to struggle with it for the rest of the year. My target is to finish it at the end of December, or at least January. And I hope I can get a new idea for the title. I suck in making names...
Well, that's for later. For now I have to finish my assignment first. The library will be closed tomorrow, which means I'll have to bring thick books to home. I don't know how I can reach home safely...

Blogging Thought
Ah, yeah, here I go again. I'm now making this new post because I'm too lazy to walk home and do the laundry, and instead spend a few more minutes just to make this post. Yes, this time, it's about the design of my blog.
And as I examine it carefully, I notice a few things:
And as I examine it carefully, I notice a few things:
- I made it without too much effort. Really unlike Wordpress in which I have to choose the right template with different variation of background, here I just need to choose a style and then background image separately. That's very fast. Good for a
lazy bumhonest-and-hard-working-student-who-just-sometimes-feels-a-little-bit-tired-for-more-studying like me. - I made it free of charge. Students don't have money. That's just the law of nature. Those who do have money... well, I'm jealous.
- The design is so childish. I don't know why I chose it. I still like it, though. At least it's fresh and bright. I like blue and green.
- The best part of Blogger is—well—I don't have to make a profile information anymore. At least, I don't have to. People can just click on the link, and ta-daa! There they have my details. Easy, fast and efficient.
Oh, well. Laundry can't finish itself. I suppose I have to go home, anyway.
Expell(ed)iarmus
The reason I make this blog, against all common sense, is completely unknown to me. I'm just—well—bored doing my homework, too bored with continuing my half-way novel and... nothing, I suppose. That's all. Just... boredom.
I have thought of making this kind of blog before, of course. This is my third blog so far. The first one is unfortunately deserted because I put too many rants in it. The second one goes better, but I make it way too "business-like" thingy that I lose my interest in it. I'm so not business-type of a person. I can barely sell drugs to drug addict (hey, I mean, that's illegal, right?). So... well. I don't know.
This blog is more random than I thought. I never used Blogspot before, so I don't have any idea what I should do with it. I don't understand pay-per-click thingy at all. I have no idea why I name it "Wizard of LOL" or why I choose this background. Maybe just because it's neat. I rarely think further than that.
Anyway, I use this blog as a Paradise, as an escape pod from my everyday life. Just a diary, I think. And I still don't have any idea what I'm gonna write after this. I still have to come back to my homework.
Gee, I wonder what I'll put in the next post...
